COHUBICOL team demoed our forthcoming Typology of Legal Technologies at Radboud (27 Sept 2022)
Last week the team demoed COHUBICOL’s forthcoming Typology of Legal Technologies at the iHub, a cross-disciplinary research group at Radboud University in Nijmegen (see the event page here). Click here to see the presentation’s slides.
The Typology is a curated set of typical legal technologies (applications, scientific papers, datasets), assessed by the COHUBICOL team based on claims made by their developers and/or providers, and on the substantiation of those claims, with an eye to the kind of legal impact their deployment may have.
A thoughtful audience from diverse backgrounds (law, computer science, and social science) engaged enthusiastically with the Typology and provided feedback on the tool, its purpose and content. We have already integrated some of these suggestions in the Typology in anticipation of its launch.
The Typology will be presented at our CRCL22 conference on 3-4 November 2022, after which it will be published at publications.cohubicol.com.
